Our Story

Kennedy and Amoy who are the founders and executives of WemaDevops LLC both have a passion and mission to help people thrive in life through education. Their passion is to mentor as well as train and equip not just those that are already in the DevOps field, but also those that aspire to get into the field of DevOps engineering. 

Kennedy, who has a background in Electrical Engineering developed a passion for DevOps because of the endless possibilities and freedom to create and automate tasks and processes while focusing on tools and configurations. His keen interest on how things work and automation made him switch his career and did a deep dive into study and practice as well as certifications in the DevOps industry. This opened opportunities for him not only to learn but also to work and teach DevOps concepts and modules.

Through interactions with his students from his classes, Kennedy gained first-hand experience with the questions and challenges that most students had due to the rapid changes in technology that weren't reflective of the curriculum. As a result, he resolved to thoroughly research and develop a curriculum that was relevant and based on current technologies; so that the questions and needs of the students and those in the workforce might be met. Kennedy felt that research was key in the DevOps industry, and therefore a well-thought-through curriculum that is fluid enough to incorporate the changes in technology would better prepare students for the market. 

This is what led to the inception of WemaDevOps LLC. A DevOps training and coaching company that seeks to train, as well as coach, students in all stages of their DevOps careers; while being strategic and in sync with current technologies.
